A Finish

It feels like forever since i have had a finish.Sooo here she is.The Girl In The Garden.

I really enjoyed sewing her.Normally i dread doing the bs.But once i got started on it,the whole design started to stand out and come alive. She is so colourful in real life. She's one of those designs that everytime i look at her she makes me smile.

I was trying not to start another design till i finished the 2 that i have on the go at the moment, which compared to other stitchers is nothing lol.The plan was to finish off Mary Glover with a bit of Trixie thrown in.Then i saw someone on the Cross-Stitch Forum sewing George and being that i have this design myself i could'nt resist it,plus hubby's birthday is coming up in a couple of months time,so all the more reason for a new start.

So heres George And The Dragon.

And what i have done so far.

Also for the first time this month i have joined the IHSW(International Hermit Stitching Weekend) over at Joyce's Blog here's the link that will explain all.http://joysze.blogspot.com/2011/08/ihsw-august.html.

Thanks for looking.

I am happy for you. Why? Because of the Girl in the Garden, of course. She is nice. Congrats.
