At Last

I have a finish.
I used petite beads for the rain drops, the buttons on her dress and the centre of the flowers.

And i have a new start that is sewing up very quickly with no visits from Mr Frog so far. Its a waxing Moon Design called Family. Hope to get it done for Christmas for a pressie, so i have given up trying to get a few little cards and stuff done for Christmas.

Thanks for looking.

Nearly There

As you can see i have nearly finished this, just the buttons to add and the rain. I wanted to do the whole centre of the flowers in beads but some of them didn't sit right so i settled with just the one in the centre. When i have finished this i will be able to do a couple of Christmas pieces.  They will have to be small and quick because as usual i didn't stick with any of my stitching plans and tomorrow is December.Where have all the months gone?. Must crack on now.

Thanks for looking and a good weekend to you all.

To Bead Or Not To Bead

Hello, long time no see... I have been such a bad blogger.I have not blogged since October or visited anyone.Time has flown by so quickly.Normally when the clocks go back,i tend to do more stitching then normal. But this time around i have lost my mojo a bit and doing lots of reading..Anyway before i knew it,it was IHSW and slowly the bug is coming back...I'm still doing when the Rain Fell. For a small chart i thought i would fly through this, but alas no.Mr Frog came once again,so i went from
                                                                    This
To This
Now This

Then i got carried away and stitched the yellow bits of the flowers instead of beading them.So i left them stitched and put some beads into the other flower, they are not put on properly they were just put in to see the difference between the two.I think i will be going with the beads.Really looking forward to starting the girl now.

And as you can see from my jar for the November TUSAL not a lot got done.

Thanks for stopping by and looking looking.

September Wip-ocalypse

Hello all...Not a lot of stitching seems to be getting done even though i am doing a bit each evening.

The Rain Fell
And just over a week ago we lost another dog Caira,to old age.She was 12, a good age for a Rottie. She was a young looking dog and hardly any grey, unlike myself. :)

She was Jakes other half who we lost a few months back.

Parents to Bear who past away last year.

So now we are left with sisters Mollie and Rosie. These 2 are like a couple of teenagers.

Thanks for looking.

September Hermit Weekend And TUSAL

Not done much sewing the last couple of weeks,as i got 2 of Harlan Coben latest books from the library.

I did some more on Trixie, but not much.

For quite awhile i have been collecting the LHN collection and not sewn a single one,but one in particular has  had my fingers itching to start for so long. But i held off till i finished Trixie, and i was sooo good until now.
I thought being the Hermit Weekend i would start one and being kind of small it wouldn't take long to do.

And The Rain Fell.
How wrong was i ?.

Why is it that for every Hermit weekend i have everything planned out and this is all i can manage to do.

Ah well i can't complain,DD was home for the weekend and we got to play catch up with films that were on record.

Just remembered it's also time for this months TUSAL .

Hope you all have a good week.
                                             Thanks for looking.
