Thank you for all the nice comments on my last post.
Nothing wild and exciting has really happened here, unless hubby buying me a bike and a fancy red helmet counts. And that's a pedal bike, not a motor one by the way :) . So when the weather is fine off i go with DD.Being that we live in the country we stick to just the country lanes. The main road into town is a no-no for me for the time being. ;) .
Also all our spare time has been spent playing catch up in the garden now we seem to be having a bit of a summer.Mowing the lawn, fixing and spraying the fencing and still trying to paint the outside of the house. And when the weather is not so good we are painting and decorating the whole of the inside of the house has we built a granny annex on the back of our house for my parents a year or two ago.So they now have a very nice place and mines been like a tv episode for DIY SOS ;)
On the sewing front i have spent at least 2 weeks working on Trixie. All the Black was already done,so it was just the never ending confetti and its still not finished. : ( . But i suppose that's what happens when you go and start on a new Sal. :)
Though the confetti is taking forever it is paying off.In the last picture you can see the row of beads appearing.
For the Hermit weekend at Joyze's Blog i started a little 4 piece Mystery Sal at Donnas blog bythebayneedleart.blogspot.
I have really enjoyed doing this one and it sews up quickly plus the colours are really nice.Part 3 is out now.
And this months TUSAL is really full this month.
Thanks for looking.

Oh wow! She is gorgeous! I can't wait to see her finished.
I am happy about your bike. Just don't rush, and whenever you ride on your bike, wear your helmet. It's for your own best, believe me. Trixie is lovely. Keep up the lovely stitching.
