A Finish And The Volvo Ocean Race

Hello everyone, hope you all had a good weekend.

This weekend i finished Donna of bythebayneedleart. mystery sal.

Seemed appropriate that it has sheep has the fields are filled with them around here and the boat because of the Ocean race. :)

Here in Galway this week its the festival of the finale of the Volvo Ocean Race. The yachts are not due in till Tuesday morning. The harbour is normally quite empty with just a few old big fishing  boats and a car park around it.Now all the roads are closed around it and it now looks like this.
We went late in the evening has it had been raining on and off for most part of the day (theres a surpise) and things were quieting down.

Thanks for looking.

What a lovely finish!! It's a very tranquil design...kinda wish I was with the sheep there on the hill!! Looks like the Volvo Ocean race will be fun!!

Wow, that's a lot of boats. Mostly sailboats, I see. I bet they're pretty when all the sails are unfurled. I hope you enjoy the race!! And grats on the finish. It's lovely. I like the little sheepies too, although as hot as it's been lately, I don't think I'd want to be them!!!

Love the stitching, and the race sounds exciting. All those boats a few pounds worth there in the harbour!

That must have been quite a day. I mean that ocean race. That harbor seems to be packed up.
